Life is best lived in community. Small groups are an opportunity to gather and guide one another through all the intersections of faith and the real world.
At South Shore UMC we provide a small group experience for every age, and have as a goal that everyone connected to our congregation be growing in a small group experience.

Membership Pathway
For those interested in official membership in the church!
Attend Membership 101: Coffee with the Pastor in the Family Room outside the Administrative Suite the Second Sunday of every month. Here you will hear about the purpose and strategy of the church, meet Pastor Sarah in a conversational setting, and get to know other people who have a common interest with you.
Next steps are Membership 201 and 301, which give you an overview of United Methodist Theology and an understanding of your own giftedness to help guide how you can best connect into the body of the Church utilizing those gifts!

Jesus After Dark
Monday Evenings @ 9:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. off-site @ The Priolos
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. ~ Hebrews 10:24-25
Week-in and week-out, we will work to know each other more and more deeply — sharing our hearts and lives, praying for one another, asking questions, and bearing each other’s burdens. We will be persistent learners of one another. And with everything we learn — good, bad, or otherwise — we will strive to love and serve one another — meeting each other’s needs, encouraging growth, and helping one another thrive.

Tuesday Evening Life Group
7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. off-site @ The Owsleys
Life is hard, we need people of faith who walk along side of us. Come join us on Thursday evenings for fun, friendship and Bible study. We won’t tell you what you must believe but help you formulate your own beliefs through the reading of Scripture, and using our gifts of reason, experience and tradition. This is a great group for people new to Bible study and those who have been reading the scriptures for many years. Sometimes we also meet for a meal or go out to do mission work in our community.
