Do you sing or play an instrument? Dance, draw, or paint? Do you desire to express the goodness of God in a profound and artistic way? Welcome to Worship Arts at South Shore.

Worship through Art is a fundamental expression of our love and praise of God, and an invitation to others to join us in praise. Come see how you, too, can share your expressions of praise at South Shore.

Chancel Choir

The South Shore Chancel Choir is a group of lay people who sing multiple-part, traditional hymns during our Traditional worship service. This group also has the opportunity to learn and perform classical pieces from master composers both historical and modern. We rehearse every Wednesday night at 6:00 p.m. in the Worship Center. No musical training is necessary to join.

Please contact the church office for more information.

Worship Band

The South Shore Worship Band leads worship in our contemporary service. The band is comprised of both contemporary instrumentalists and pop/rock style singers who feel comfortable singing melody and harmony independently. Guitars and drums, keys and piano combine with powerful modern lyrics as we invite our worshiping congregation to sing praises to God.

If today's contemporary music is more your scene, check us out. This team meets on Wednesday nights at 7:30 p.m. in the Worship Center and again on Sunday mornings between services, to prepare to lead the 11:00 a.m. contemporary worship service.

For more info, contact Drew Golding.

Liturgical Dance

Music is not the only way to tell the gospel story or to express worship. Dance is a powerful expression to God, and our Liturgical Dance team works hard to refine and then present this worship to God.

The team is open to anyone who is interested. No dance experience required. If you'd like to know more, please contact Hillarine Old.

Tech & Production Team - In addition to musicians, our music and worship ministry is supported by a team of technicians with ears for mixing sound, eyes for running lights and the technical mind to create and control the computer slideshows during worship.

We couldn't do it without them! If you have a desire to learn more about how you can become involved please contact Drew Golding.
