Seeking Family Ministries Coordinator
(part-time)
South Shore United Methodist Church, located in the Big Bend-Riverview area of South Hillsborough County, seeks a Family Ministries Coordinator.
The Family Ministry Coordinator will be responsible for leading and managing ministry programs for the South Shore UMC Shore Kids (birth through Grade 5) and Shore Youth (grade 6 through grade 12). They will encourage all children and youth in the congregation and community to grow in faith as disciples of Jesus. Through age-level small group gatherings, annual events, special events, and service opportunities, the Coordinator will lead, empower, and work in cooperation with church members, the Senior Pastor, and community leaders to address the needs of children and youth so that all God’s children grow in the knowledge and love of God.

Seeking Worship Coordinator

South Shore United Methodist Church, located in the Big Bend-Riverview area of South Hillsborough County, seeks our next Worship Coordinator.
The Worship Coordinator will be responsible to further develop and lead a blended worship style utilizing Traditional Sanctuary Choir, Contemporary Worship Band, and special musical offerings to enhance our congregational worship to the glory of God. The Worship Coordinator will lead and rehearse with the utilized worship leadership weekly and direct the worship leadership at all services, including weekends, holidays and special events.

Seeking Recreation Ministries Coordinator

South Shore United Methodist Church, located in the Big Bend-Riverview area of South Hillsborough County, seeks a Recreation Ministries Coordinator.
The Recreation Ministry Coordinator will be responsible for developing, leading, and managing recreation ministry programs with families and people of all ages as a strategic catalyst for evangelism and entry point for community connections for South Shore UMC.
This is a brand new ministry threshold for South Shore UMC. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record and vision for recreation ministry, excel as an independent worker, and embrace a flexible working schedule set around recreational practices, games, tournaments, fellowship events, etc. In cooperation with the South Shore UMC ministry team, the Coordinator will help develop pathways for people towards spiritual formation and greater integration with the South Shore UMC congregation.
