SUNDAY SERVE WITH NEW VIEW MINISTRIES 

New View is seeking volunteers to help prepare for our upcoming Pop-Ups in the Parks. Join us next Sunday, September 20 after worship in the Family Room. We will sort and hang clothing, pack non-perishable food bags, and pre-package cutlery. Register to serve with Amber Jones.

RELATABLE FAITH SMALL GROUPS BEGIN

THIS WEEK 

Grow internally strong in faith through the Relatable Faith: The Life of Peter Bible Study. Peter was in Jesus’ inner circle, walked on water, and preached to thousands. He also gave into his fears and doubts on occasion and denied Jesus. Even so, he was the rock on which God would build the Church. We are a lot like Peter; join us as we learn how God calls and empowers us to be faithful, hopeful, persistent, forgiven, and restored, even when we fumble.  

 

Pastor Sarah will lead two offerings

of this small group:  

Tuesday Evenings with the Searchers Group via Zoom @ 7pm beginning September 15 and 

Wednesdays during Café Faith in Rm 106 and via Zoom @  Noon beginning September 16.  

 

This class will have video components and enjoy group discussion. Weekly Bible Study guides will also be available for use. Be sure to bring your Bibles. Let Pastor Sarah know to expect you by registering in the Welcome Center or by emailing sarah@southshoreumc.com.   

 

UPCOMING SUNDAY MORNING SMALL GROUP 

More than 3 billion people claim to follow Jesus. But aside from a few verses, how many actually know what he taught? In fact, much of what people think Jesus taught, he never said.  

In The Message of Jesus: Words That Changed the World, 

Rev. Adam Hamilton explores six of the most important themes in Jesus's teachings, 

why they matter, and how they speak to us today.

Join Rebecca Crotwell and friends beginning September 27 during the 10:40hr  

to begin this 6wk study! This small group opportunity will include video segments and group discussions. Participants are encouraged to purchase a personal copy of the book.  

Register in the Welcome Center! 

 

UWiF ANNUAL TEA – THIS SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19 @ NOON. 

Join the ladies of the church for an afternoon of terrific tea and fellowship! $5 per attendee. Bring a dish to share. RSVP in the Welcome Center or with a member of UWiF Leadership.
