REPLENISH RESTORE THIS SUNDAY
Please bring non-perishable food donations and place them in the shopping cart in the Welcome Center.
Your donations support our partnership with Restore Food Pantry at Riverview First UMC and bring relief
to hunger experienced by the most vulnerable in our community.
CHRISTMAS CANTATA NEXT SUNDAY @ 10AM
SSUMC’s Combined Chorale will lead us in a Christmas Cantata – “Christmas Joy Around the World” –
in worship next Sunday. This is a great opportunity to invite family, friends, and neighbors to worship
with us as we prepare for the birth of our Savior through story and song!
CHRISTMAS CONFECTION AND COCOA SOCIAL FOLLOWING THE CANTATA
Bake a batch of your favorite Christmas Confection and bring it to share following our Christmas Cantata
on December 14. South Shore will provide the Cocoa and Coffee – and your donated treats will make
the morning oh so sweet! Thank you!
SUNDAY SERVE WITH NEW VIEW MINISTRIES
New View is in need of volunteers on Sunday, December 14th, immediately following service,
to help sort and hang clothing, pack non-perishable food bags, and pre-package cutlery in preparation for Dinner in the Park. New View is also in need of donated blankets, bug spray, after-bite, and gently used
male clothing & shoes. Please see Amber Jones
if interested, after service.
SSUMC STAFF APPRECIATION AND
CHRISTMAS CHEER
Please take a moment to share messages of appreciation with our dedicated SSUMC Staff during the holiday season. Cards are available in the Welcome Center, and once completed, may be placed in the lay staff members Christmas sleighs. We will also receive a love offering for lay staff members through December 21 that they will receive before Christmas; please indicate ‘staff appreciation’ on your gift.
VISIT OUR 2025 SOUTH SHORE
ANGEL TREE TODAY
Connect with Angel Tree Leadership in the Welcome Center to adopt an angel card from the tree or
learn about the many ways you can support this congregational mission during Advent.
All donations are due back to the church on December 14, with delivery to the schools happening that week.
If you are interested in helping or have other questions, please email Mark Crouse at bobcats110@yahoo.com.
SHORE FAMILY CHRISTMAS PARTY
NEXT SUNDAY, DECEMBER 14
