ALL SAINTS CELEBRATION SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 1

The South Shore UMC Family will recognize persons that have gone ahead of us into glory in the last year through a special time of naming the saints, prayer, candle lighting, and song next Sunday.

We hope you will join us in worship for this remembrance celebration.

2021 COMMITMENT CARDS MAILED

Members and Friends of SSUMC received 2021 Commitment Cards this week by mail. If you did not receive one, please connect with a Worship Support Team Member or check in at the Welcome Center to receive one this morning. We hope to have 100% commitment card participation from our church family this year. We will celebrate and consecrate completed 2021 Commitment Cards in worship on Sunday, November 1.

REMINDER: FIRST SUNDAY 'REPLENISH RESTORE' NEXT SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 1

Please bring donations and place them in the shopping cart in the welcome center.

Your donations support our partnership with Restore Food Pantry at Riverview First UMC and bring relief to hunger experienced by the most vulnerable in our community.

SPECIAL THANKSGIVING REPLENISH RESTORE

Our friends at Restore have asked the South Shore UMC Family to help them complete Thanksgiving Baskets for needy families. Between now and Sunday, November 15, please support this effort by donating any of the following items:

Boxes of Instant Mashed Potatoes

Boxes of Stove Top Dressing Mix

Canned Sweet Potatoes

Canned Cranberries or Cranberry Sauce

Dry or Canned Gravy Mix

‘CAFÉ FAITH’ LEADERSHIP STUDY

Café Faith is a Wednesday lunchtime study and fellowship opportunity. We gather via ZOOM link. Join us as we enjoy our meal, enjoy our fellowship, and enjoy time spent in the Word with God.This week’s text is Psalm 72; together we will learn about the kind of heart God desires leaders to have.
