SUNDAY SERVE WITH NEW VIEW MINISTRIES 

New View is seeking volunteers to help prepare for our upcoming Pop-Ups in the Parks. Join us next Sunday, October 18 after worship in the Family Room.

We will sort and hang clothing, pack non-perishable food bags, and pre-package cutlery.

Register to serve with Amber Jones.  

 

ALL SAINTS RECOGNITION 

The South Shore UMC Family will recognize persons that have entered the Church Triumphant in the last year through a special time of naming the saints, prayer, candle lighting, and song on

Sunday, November 1.  

If you have a member of your family that you would like recognized during this service, please email their name to sarah@southshoreumc.com by October 28.  

 

EXTERNALLY FOCUSED IN SERVICE @ TRUNK OR TREAT | DECORATE A TRUNK | DONATE CANDY AND TRINKETS 

Support our Church in hosting a successful Trunk or Treat on Sunday, October 25 by  

1 – decorating a trunk for our Treat Trail 

2 – donating bags of individually wrapped candy or little trinkets such as stickers, pencils, temporary tattoos, erasers, etc.  

3 – make a financial contribution towards our hot dog and chip dinner that evening 

Donations may be placed in the hot-dog costumed bin in the Welcome Center.  

Please indicate ‘Trunk or Treat’ on your financial gift.

EXTERNALLY FOCUSED IN SERVICE WITH ONEBLOOD – SUNDAY, OCTOBER 25 

OneBlood will be on campus from 3pm to 7pm.  

We look forward to serving our community and serving in partnership with our community through donating blood during our Trunk or Treat Event.   

Please schedule an appointment to give; this helps OneBlood coordinate the staffing to make our drive a success. The Appointment Link is on the Welcome Center Table. 

 

SOUTH SHORE UMC 2026 CHURCH CONFERENCE 

THIS THURSDAY @ 7PM | SOUTH SHORE UMC WORSHIP CENTER 

PRESIDING ELDER: REV. DR. CYNTHIA WEEMS 

During our annual Charge Conference, we will vote on SSUMC 2027 Lay Leadership,  receive a membership report, and approve pastoral compensation. 

There will also be a brief time for questions and answers. This meeting is open to the whole church; membership is required for voting items.   

Lay Leadership and Staff are

strongly encouraged to attend.
