WORSHIP AND WEEKLY ACTIVITY ALTERATIONS
AT SOUTH SHORE UMC DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
In response to the COVID-19 Pandemic, South Shore UMC has made the following alterations to our Sunday Morning Worship Services, Church Gatherings, and Community Gatherings. It is important for us to share this information with our church family and the community as part of doing our part to protect and preserve individual and communal health during this time.
Effective through April 30, South Shore UMC will not gather for public worship. We will stream one blended worship service each Sunday at 11 a.m. via FacebookLive, which can be viewed by visiting www.facebook.com/southshoreumc. A Facebook account is not required to view our worship services via the provided link.
- If you join us for worship via FacebookLive - either live or sometime during the week - please be sure to 'comment' you are viewing!
- If you do not have a Facebook account, please email 'you viewed' to email@example.com.
We value your presence in worship as part of your offering to God!
Please note, many religious organizations are using Facebook as their means to offer worship during this pandemic.
If you experience visual or sound difficulties at the time of the broadcast - we apologize! - and invite you to reconnect to the broadcast later that day.
SSUMC's A/V and Worship Teams are working hard to produce the best offering of steaming worship, with new enhancements each week.
Effective through April 30, 2020 - all South Shore UMC Activities and Community Group Activities that meet on the church campus are suspended.
This includes regularly scheduled Church Office Hours.
If you have questions, please connect with Staff Members via their email addresses located on the Staff Page.
Messages left on the Church Office Answering Machine will be checked daily.

In this time of recommended physical distancing, remember that physical distancing does not equate to isolation. There are many ways for us to be the Body of Christ together even when we cannot gather together.
