MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM PASTOR SARAH AND THE STAFF AT SSUMC!
SSUMC STAFF APPRECIATION
AND CHRISTMAS CHEER
Thank you, Church, for the gifts of gratitude and appreciation you have poured out upon our fabulous SSUMC Staff this month. Your cards of appreciation and funds given towards a love offering will be presented to our staff this week.
Our SSUMC Staff are truly amazing leaders, and I am grateful to serve alongside them. Please continue to hold all of us in your prayers as we lead God’s people in becoming ever more internally strong in faith and externally focused in service.
Love, Pastor Sarah
JOIN SSUMC IN READING THE BIBLE-IN-A-YEAR
Throughout 2026, we will read God’s Word from Genesis to Revelation chronologically.
Our plan is 5 days/week with daily Old and New Testament readings. Reading guides are available in the Welcome Center and on the Homepage of the SSUMC Website.
GROW INTERNALLY STRONG IN FAITH in an UPCOMING 2026 SMALL GROUP
Join Rebecca Crotwell on Sunday Mornings @ 10:40hr in Rm 115/116 beginning January 11 to study Rev. Adam Hamilton’s Why: Making Sense of God’s Will. In this study, we will explore God’s goodness and God’s power in the face of continued tragedy and turmoil. Together, we will seek fresh insight into the age-old question of how to understand God’s will.
This class will include video and discussion components; participants are encouraged to obtain a person copy of Hamilton’s book.
Join Mary Priolo and Friends at 7:30pm on Monday Evenings for Jesus After Dark, hosted in the Priolo home. This group will study Phil Moore’s The Bible in 100 Pages and together see the big picture in God’s Great Story. Participants are encouraged to obtain a personal copy of the book.
Register for these studies in the Welcome Center or via office@southshoreumc.com.
