Ahoy and welcome aboard!

This is the Home Port for all children's ministries at South Shore United Methodist Church.

This is where we keep you afloat...

Here you'll find links to the various Children's programs we offer, as well as opportunities to serve as a volunteer for South Shore Kids.

Children dismiss to Children's Church following the

11am Modern Service Children's Moment on Sundays.

Each week, we take what was discussed by Pastor Sarah

during the Children's Moment, and dive a little deeper to

see how we can weave these teachings into our daily lives!

Also there's games, hollering, singing, dancing, crafts...
YOU
NEVER KNOW WHAT WE'RE GOING TO DO!

During the 'Fifth Sunday' service, that is traditionally called "Youth Sunday", where our youth group leads the church in worship. On those Sundays, we typically stay in the sanctuary so that the children can get to know the youth better!

"What IS Scatter Has a Question, anyway?"

SHAQ.png

I'm so glad you asked! Scatter is our resident monster. As he is making his trek through being a Christian, sometimes he wonders why we do the things we do. Some questions so far have been about why we say Amen after prayers, what that fish symbol is for, what offering is for, etc.

We post a new question Sundays at 10AM, but you can watch them anytime!

RESOURCES!

Sometimes, parenting is hard! Sometimes, we don't always have the answers. Sometimes, we just need a little help. There's nothing wrong with that! I will be posting new resources here as I find them.
