BINGO GAME DAY

Come join us for a "Bingo Game Day" on Saturday, February 15th, 12:00 Noon-3:00PM. A light lunch of chili, salad, corn bread, dessert and drinks will be served, and then we will begin playing Bingo. There will be prizes! All are welcome. Please sign-up in the Welcome Center. Hope to see you there.

God is love. Crazy, relentless, all-powerful love. Have you ever wondered if we're missing it? We invite you to join Jesus After Dark, a small group of SSUMC, meeting Monday nights at 9:00pm. Yes, you read that right....9:00pm. Our next study, beginning Monday, January 20th is “Crazy Love” by Francis Chan. God is calling you to a passionate love relationship with Himself. Because the answer to religious complacency isn't working harder at a list of do's and don'ts—it's falling in love with God. Giving statements are available for pick up this morning in the Welcome Center.

Any remaining statements will be mailed January 27.

SAVE THE DATE: STATE OF THE CHURCH REPORT

Plan to attend SSUMC’s Annual State of the Church Report on Tuesday, February 4 at 6:30pm. The report will be given in the Worship Center and will include updates from our Operational Leadership Teams and Ministry Area Leaders.

CALLED TO LEAD?

Pastor Sarah celebrates answered calls to lead at South Shore UMC!

As a result our Trustees and Finance Committees have full complements of members.

Staff Parish and Finance each have one new member. Pastor Sarah is seeking a man to serve on Staff Parish, who oversee and partner with our staff in developing leaders. This teams meets a maximum of six times a year and works efficiently when they gather. Pastor Sarah will equip you with training and resources to make your service successful and satisfying. Please continue to be in prayer for our church family, for God to stir persons' hearts for leadership and service to respond to this call.
